William "Bill" O'Bryant

William "Bill" Earl O'Bryant, 81, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., passed away Sunday, January 5, 2020, at the Veterans Affair's Hospital. Services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at Magnolia Chapel North with Dr. Hayse Boyd officiating. Burial will follow at West Alabama Memorial Gardens with Magnolia Chapel North directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Lucille Stone; step-daughter Nancy Lockhart; and great-grand daughter Layla Hill.

He is survived by his wife Linda O'Bryant; sisters Louise Pajak (John) and Lynn Norris (Larry); brother Andy Stone; his children Pamela West (Steve), Kenneth O'Bryant, and step-sons Dennis Lockhart (Kathy) and Kevin Lockhart (Sherri);12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

He lived in Tuscaloosa all his life but traveled a lot with his job, driving a truck for Phifer Wire. He drove a truck for more than 40 years of his life and loved it. He often bragged that he had traveled to all 50 states. He loved America and proudly served our country in the Navy as a young adult. He was a proud member of First Baptist Church of Tuscaloosa and loved to drive the church van to all their different functions.

Pallbearers are Ken Rudd, Jordan Lockhart, Phillip Lollar, Kevin Lockhart, Dennis Lockhart, Jimmy Hardy, and Windle Prentice.

Honorary pallbearers include the V.A Hospital and members of First Baptist Church of Tuscaloosa.
