Timmy Holemon

Timmy Ray Holemon, age 60, passed away peacefully on June 7 at home surrounded by family. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 10 at 2:00 pm at Winters Cemetery with Brother Jerry Montgomery and Brother Kevin Morrison officiating and Magnolia Chapel South directing.

Timmy was born February 16, 1960, in Flint, Michigan. At age 5 his family moved back to Alabama where he was raised and lived out his life in the Brownville Community. He worked in the logging woods until a swimming accident at the age of 19. He lived a full life of hunting, fishing, spending time with family, friends and several great dogs, and enjoyed many trips to the mountains. His drive and determination are an inspiration to all who knew him. He is the perfect example of perseverance in the face of adversity. His family takes comfort knowing he has been fully restored. He is preceded in death by his father, Floyd Holemon.

He is survived by his mother Mrs. Jessie Holemon, daughter Tabatha Price (Jonathon), sister, Belinda Miles, brothers, Larry (Sharon) and Terry Holemon, grandchildren, Trace (Tinker Bell) and Destin Freeman, nephews, Casey Miles, Arlis Holemon (Christy), Allen Winters, nieces, Melody Lunceford (Ronald), Jauleia Winters, Lynn Harbin, great nieces, Mallory Miles and Haley Holemon, and many other loving family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Hanky Watson, Wayne Traweek, Trace Freeman, Virgil Watson, Darren Sullivan, Randal Freeman, Casey Miles and Arlis Holemon. Honorary pallbearers are the Brownville Community, Ben Smith, Special Nurses Jessica, Jamie, and Shaye, Dr. A and staff, Dr. Arti Pandy and staff, and Bethabara Baptist Church. Thank you to all who have shared love through prayers, meals, and visits.
