Teri Kirkendoll

Teri Lyn Kirkendoll passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 28th, 2020. Services will be held at 1:00 P.M Saturday, March 7, 2020, at Magnolia Chapel North with Chaplain Bill McDonald officiating, and Magnolia Chapel North directing. Visitation will 6-8 P.M Friday, March 6, 2020, at the funeral home.

She was born on January 9, 1980 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She graduated from both Central High School and the University of Alabama.

Teri is survived by Patsy Stewart (mother), Elizabeth Kirkendoll (daughter), David Kirkendoll (husband), the Smiths (Jessica, Adam, Reygan and Waylan), her cousins the Brazils (Missy, James, Garland and Lily), the Stablers (Susan and Stephen, Hill, Hayes), niece Carmen Caballero, Alexandria Rodas, aunt and uncle Judy and Hodo Strickland.

She’s preceded in death by her father, Terrell Crawford Stewart, sister Paige Caballero, grandparents Owen and Sue Stewart and Edward and Mavis Turner.

She spent life showing off her sweet dance moves, canoeing on the Cahaba, hunting with David, spending time with her momma, making sure rescue dogs had happy homes, heaping love on her friends and family, and doing it all with fiery and everlasting grace.

The last 4 years of her life were spent being the world’s best mom to Izzie Mae Kirkendoll. Teri had many fears when it came to motherhood. She wanted to protect Izzie and raise a quality person. Fears aside, motherhood flowed from her beautifully creating a loving daughter that looked at her mother with glowing adoration. She instilled values in Izzie that will carry on with her forever. She once said, “I hope she always has her voice and is never afraid to use it.” Teri was a unique person who loved the people in her life “big” and wanted the best for everyone. To say she will be missed is an understatement. Her time with us wasn’t long enough. If there was a person who crammed a lifetime of love within the time she had, it was her. Skinny, fly high!

Pallbearers: Blake Horton, Jason Waits, Michael Barker, Adam Smith, Sterling Sanders, and Andrew Bates
