James Perkins

James Perkins of Northport, 57, beloved Father and grandfather, was called to his eternal resting place on February 3, 2021. He entered this world on August 11, 1963 in Berry, AL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kathleen Snow and Robert Perkins and his sister Susan Perkins. He is survived by his 3 daughters, Carmela De La Rosa of Spring Hill, FL, Jackie Setser (Justin) of Tuscaloosa, AL, and Laura Plowman (Kenneth) of Huntsville, AL; brothers Ernie Perkins (Vern) of Dade City, FL, and David Perkins (Judy) of Northport, AL and sister Patricia Perkins. He was a deeply devoted grandfather to his grandchildren, Ashton Setser (17), Rachel Plowman (16), Eric Plowman (14) and Amelia Setser (7). He will be deeply missed by his family & friends. Honorary pallbearers include the Tuscaloosa Plumbers and Steamfitters Local Union 372 & Church of the Highlands where he made the decision to commit his life to Christ. Services will be held on February 9, 2021 at 10:30 am at Magnolia Chapel North with a graveside service to follow at Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Bankston, AL.
