James Barrett

James William Barrett, 72 of Elrod passed away Friday, September 17, 2021, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at Magnolia Chapel North starting with visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 am following with service at 11:00am with Bro. David Kelley officiating and Magnolia Chapel North directing. Burial will conclude the service at Cornelius Chapel Cemetery located in Buhl.

James is preceded in death by his parents Walter and Lucille Barrett, brothers; Eugene Barrett, Ed Barrett, Clyde Barrett and sister; Katherine Greenfield.

Survivors include his loving wife Donna Marcum Barrett, son Jamie Hodo, grandson Brantley Hodo, sisters, Lois Randolph,Betty Wilson and brother Ted Barrett along with many nephews, nieces and friends.

Pallbearer will be Brantley Hodo, Charlie Kirkley, Tim Barrett, Taylor Barrett, Tory Barrett, Joe Golden, Ethan Barrett and Matt Golden. Honorary Pallbearers include Frank Hodo, Jennifer Draper, Lee Tilley, Frankie Boothe, Wayne Davison, Angie Taylor along with the Buhl and Elrod community.
