Jackson Everett Owens Kelley, age 32 of Prattville, formerly of Moundville, passed away April 28, 2020, at Prattville Baptist Hospital. A 2:00 pm graveside service will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2020, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Moundville with Rev. Jason Duckett and Rev. Scott Stevens officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents James and Birdie Owens and his uncle Kenny Owens.

Survivors include his fiancee Jessica Milam, daughter; Jorja Danielle Leigh Kelley, son; James Thomas Owens Kelley, parents; Randy and Robin Kelley, sister; Jordan Kelley, brother; Jameson Kelley, grandparents; Burnard and Nelda Kelley, and his niece Josie Kelley.

Jackson Kelley had a commanding presence , a love of family and friends, and a natural ability for making life interesting for all that came in contact with him. Jackson came into this world on October 15, 1987 . He was the pride and joy of his parents and grandparents. During his youth years, Jackson received the Order of the Arrow and worked hard to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America, the Scouts highest honor. Jackson was a member of Moundville Baptist Church.Many of his classmates from Hale County would say he was the smile that never frowned, a friend to all who knew him and someone who never met a stranger. After graduating HCHS in 2006, he attended the auto body technician program at Shelton State Community College. Jackson loved to tinker with his cars and trucks. He listened to all genres of music from Elton John  to Yelawolf. Jackson has two precious children, J.T. and Jorja, who he loved dearly. He enjoyed cooking, watching History Channel, listening to audio books, and most of all playing video games. Jackson loved all animals especially his pitbull Brindi. He took pride in his work as a body shop painter at Hyundai Glovis. Jackson could sit and talk with anyone, anytime, and loved the challenge of a good debate. The love of family and friends was the heart of his spirit.

Pallbearers will be Jameson Kelley, Hunter Kelley, Jason Kelley, Grayson Crawford, Dusty Fields, Michael Peter Pulling, Corey Neill and Taylor May.

Honorary pallbearers are Randall Owens, Jamie Owens, Eddie Barnett, John Murray Ikner, Terry Kelley, Colton Kelley, Joe Crawford, Hale County Class of 2006, Moundville Baptist Church, Hyundai Glovis, Cottondale Elementary, and a host of many friends and family.
