Emma Mohr

Emma Katherine "Kat" Mohr, age 86, gained Heaven on June 15, 2020. The family will hold a private graveside at Goodwater Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel North directing.

Katherine's life centered around her relationship with her savior. She had a servant's heart, ready to join you in prayer at a moments notice. Katherine cherished her family ahead of all earthly possessions and always treated time with family as the commodity that should be most cherished.

Mothers smile was always inviting and if you ever spent more than a couple of minutes with her, she would share her faith in Jesus and you could be guaranteed that you would be lifted up in prayer. Even in the months proceeding her death, with her health fading, she was quick to ask about family and ready to pray for them. Every time you would leave her presence, she would tell you that she loved you "MORE".

Emma Katherine Smith was proceeded in death by her husband Donald Mohr, daughter; Sharon Harless Lee, grandsons; Shawn Harless, Jimmy Hoover, and great grandson Easton Parker.

Katherine was the youngest of Thirteen Siblings in the Smith family proceeded in death by her brothers; Will, Marion, Vester, James, Paul, Dan, Ambers, Blucher and her sisters Dessie, Delphia, Tressie, Christine. There were also many other family members who had already received their prize there to greet her as she entered into her reward.

What a homecoming Monday's victory brought.

She is survived by two sons; Jimmy Max Hamner (Janet), Randy Scott Hamner (Djuana), seven grandchildren; Sarah Roberts, John Harless, Kristi Parker, Trenton Hamner, Westley Hamner, Stephanie Humphries and Jerry Johnson, great grandchildren; Emma, Krimson, and Berkley Parker, Saylor GraceHamner, Finnleigh Blake Hamner, Auston,Triston,Mackenzie and Allison Smith, and Mallory Hoover, Jeremiah and Nathaniel Harless and three great great grandchildren; Bentley and Easton Smith, and Nova Humphries.

Katherines presence was always pointing to the Cross and the promise of the scripture Act 16:31 ~ And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ , and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

The family will celebrate her life in a private service.
