Dorothy Beams

Dorothy Bobo Beams, age 83, of Northport, passed away at home on October 29, 2019. Services will be held on Friday, November 1, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Magnolia Chapel North with Rev. Mike Griffin officiating and Magnolia Chapel North directing. Burial will follow at Arbor Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00~2:00 pm at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her parents Auston and Mattie Lou Bobo, Daughter Brenda Oswalt, 5 sisters and 1 brother.

She is survived by her husband Dwight Beams, daughter Janice Barrentine (Bill), son Jefferey J. Beams (Karen), sister Ruby Walters (Raiford), and sister-in-law Rebe Bobo, 7 grandchildren and 1 great grand child.

Pallbearers will be deacons and members of Arbor Springs Baptist Church.

Honorary pallbearers are Arbor Springs Baptist Church family, friends, and neighbors, Lashondra Gray and sitters, and Alabama Hospice Care of Tuscaloosa.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Arbor Springs Cemetery Fund or Good Samaritan Clinic.
