Deborah Mills

Deborah Smith Mills of Moundville AL, 73, passed away Monday, October 26, 2020, at Moundville Health & Rehab.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Alan Mills, of Moundville, her parents Valcus and Lucille Smith of Stewart Community and granddaughter Mari- Hannah Mason.

She is survived by her daughter Lindsay Mills O’Bryant, son-in-law Joe O'Bryant of Moundville, brother James (Jimmy) Smith and sister-in-law Rhonda of Greensboro, grand children Lydia, Addisyn, Brayden and Millee.

She loved her grandchildren more than anything and loved watching them grow up. She loved going to the beach, watching Alabama Football, shopping at Jennaration boutique and a good vegetable plate from City Cafe.

She worked for many years as a medical transcriptionist at DCH and was a long time receptionist at UOC. Later in life she worked in retail at McRae's and Dillard's.

Honorary pallbearers are the Hale County High School class of 1965, employees of Moundville Health and Rehab, North River Village Assisted Living and Blush Salon.

A Memorial Service will be at Englewood Baptist Church in Tuscaloosa, Sunday, November 1, 2020, at 2:30pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior at 1:30pm.
