David "Buddy" Wise, Jr.

David Poellnitz Wise, Jr. lovingly known as "Buddy" was called home Friday, September 17, 2021 by his Lord and Savior. Services will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. His visitation will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2021 the day prior to services from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Magnolia Chapel South. Burial will follow on Friday following the services. Pastor Saint Green will be officiating and Magnolia Chapel South directing.

He is preceded in death by his daddy, David Wise, Sr.; son, David Wise III; nephew, Adam Hoggle; and brother in laws, Larry Reid and Joe Harris.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Debra Wise; daughter, Kasey Wise; son, Justin Wise(Summer); grandchildren, Ashton Wise, Bailey Wise, David Wise IV. and Annslei Wise; mother, Margaret Wise; brother, Daryl Wise(Theresa); sisters, Sally Cook, Judy Cook, Grace Harris, Darlene Wise, Doris Wise Smith, Dolly Strickland(Phillip), Dulcie Hoggle (Kenny), Diana Harris and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was the best husband, father, son and brother. He was a quiet man with a big heart and will be missed dearly.

Pallbearers will be Michael Roberts, Jeff Gilbert, Ryan Wise, Eli Harris, Wesley Rittenberry, Phil Strickland, Nate Strickland and Shane Holloway, Sr.

Honorary pallbearers; Averitt Express, Doctors and Nurses of DCH ICU.

The family request mask be worn to visitation and service.
