Chad Brandon Spencer, age 48, of Northport, Alabama, passed away on September 16, 2022. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 26, 2022, at Magnolia Chapel North. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at Magnolia Chapel North with Rev. Cathy Caldwell Hoop and Bro. Chuck Evanson officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Magnolia Chapel North directing.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas Jefferson Spencer Sr., Mattie Lois Spencer, and Roy R. Crowder; siblings, Charles Anthony Spencer and Deanna Williams Rogers; and daughters, Madyson Ava Spencer and Morgan Shayanne Spencer.

Survivors include his daughter, Mattie Kendell Spencer; brother, Roy B. Spencer; father, Beverly P. Spencer; mother, Linda J. Crowder; grandmother, Nona M. Crowder; nieces, Maggie Ellen Spencer and Sarah Gayle Spencer; step-parents, Virginia Williams and Edwina Miller; uncles and aunts, Linda Spencer, J. D. Spencer (Bonnie), Robert Spencer (Terri), Cindy Lucy (Ben), and Christie Suarez (Ebene); cousins, Nathan Lucy, Anna Lucy Harvey, Benjamin Lucy, Claire Suarez, Joseph Suarez, Tommy Spencer, Scott Spencer, Stacy Spencer, Caleb Spencer, Cheri Reid and Janet Shirley.

Chad was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on January 5, 1974. He entered life full of energy and continued his journey through life in pretty much the same way. Chad was a devoted father. He adored his daughter, Mattie Kendell. She was the light of his life. Chad never met a stranger; he would help anyone standing in need. He loved to spend time with his many friends and family. His hobbies included shooting pool, hunting, and being a NASCAR fan. He could make anyone smile with his antics. He loved all creatures with four legs and they loved him. We look forward to seeing him again in Heaven.

Pallbearers will be Randall Prewitt, Brian Burns, Will Martin, Mark Higgins, Ronnie Morrison, and Jeff Englebert.

Honorary pallbearers are employees of B & V Wrecker; employees of A Better Service Company, Wrecker Drivers Association of Tuscaloosa, and all of his many, many friends.
