Bill Rogers

Bill Rogers, age 66, of Northside, Ala., passed away April 5, 2021 at his home. His Celebration of Life Service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 10, 2021, at Magnolia Chapel North with Bro. Terry Oswalt officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his father, Allen Rogers; and brother, Danny Rogers.

Survivors include his mother, Edna Rogers; brothers, Jimmy Rogers (Linda) and Bobby Rogers; sister, Cathy Rogers; and a host of family and friends.

Bill loved gardening and sharing the vegetables with everyone. He was a faithful visitor to many of the elderly and shut-ins. Anytime there was a need in the community, Bill was there! Caring, dependable and fun describe Bill... but loyalty may have been his best trait. Bill's loyalty was returned in many lifelong friendships. He left a void in our hearts that can only be filled with our precious memories!

Honorary pallbearers are T. R. Sellers, Mike Mitchum, Wendell Beams, Chauncy Vickers, Don Davis, Tim Lewis, Steve West, Mike Watkins, Shane Watkins, Jerry Herzig and too many others to list!

The morning of his death he had just returned home from weed-eating grass at Haygood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the cemetery fund of your choice.
