Betty Ruth Bell, 67, of Coker, was called to her eternal resting place on September 9, 2021 due to Covid. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, beginning at 11:00 am immediately followed by a memorial service at 12:00 pm at Magnolia Chapel North Funeral Home. Services will be officiated by David Kelly. She entered this world on November 20, 1953 in Monroe County, MS, born to Nathan and Katherine Robertson. She is preceded in death by her father Nathan Robertson; great-grandson Brody Cook. She is survived by her mother Katherine Robertson; daughters: Tracy Webster, Leslie Dean; sons: Curtis "Beau" Bell III (Pamela); Ben Bennett (Katie); sisters: Lynda Nevin (David), Brenda Boothe; brother: Jimmy Dale Robertson; Grandchildren: Clayton and Carter Webster, Anna Cook, Katie Smith, Carlie Smith, Malerie, Curt, Harper Bell, Paisley and Logan Bennett, Markie Standridge. Special friend Maw (Billy Sue Snyder).
She worked at Buddy's Steakhouse for 35 years and made many special friends and pulled many pranks on her friends at the "round table". She loved playing softball and league bowling for many years. After she retired from work she became a full time caretaker to her grandkids whom were all treasures in her life. She loved watching them perform and play sports and was actively involved in their lives. She was always smiling and had a positive outlook on every situation in life. She had a vibrant personality (and hair) that everyone loved being around. She was a friend and mother to everyone she knew. She loved life and helping others. She never missed a opportunity to show kindness. She was friendly and showed love to everyone she met. She will forever be missed.
