William "Bill" Eric Dunbar

William "Bill" Eric Dunbar, age 76, of Northport, Ala., passed away January 13, 2026, in Northport, Ala. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 19, 2026, at Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel North directing.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Dunbar; and mothers, Dixie Black Dunbar, and Georgetta Dunbar.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Perrin Dunbar; daughters, Alicia Dunbar LaRocca (Rob), and Amy Smitherman; son, Steven Smitherman; sister, Lisa Dunbar Harrell; brother, Bob Dunbar (Ann); grandchildren, Jackson Smitherman, Thaddeus Smitherman, and Thomas Smitherman.

Pallbearers will be Pete Salzar, Bryan German, Greg West, Harlan Haight, Blake Cannon, and Bill Pace.

Honorary pallbearers are Jeff Dunbar, Shane Dunbar, Joey Dunbar, Bob Dunbar, Rob LaRocca, Randy Cannon, Ken Houser, Dr. Clint McEntyre, and Rick Besant.
