Wanda Elaine Burns

Wanda Elaine Burns, age 84, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., passed away September 13, 2024 at UAB West.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert M. Leonard and Valera Jane Leonard; son, Charles Darrel Hamner; siblings, Dwight Leonard, Nancy Leonard Collins, and Gary Leonard.

Survivors include her husband Rayburn Burns; daughter, Melanie Dutton (Tony); sons, Tony Hamner (Debra), and Darron Hamner; sister, Mildred "Sissy" Whitley; grandchildren, Chase Hamner (Jana), Carleigh Isbell (Tony), Colton Hamner (Heather), Brooke Dutton, and Courtney Corley (Christopher); and great-grandchildren, Marichase Hamner, Maggie Leigh Hamner, Josie Brooke Lee, Hudson Chronister, Rylan Wolfe, and Alexandra Parker.
