10:00 - 11:00 am (Central time)
Virginia (Ginny) C. Perry joined her Heavenly family and friends on July 2, 2026. Ginny was 94 years old and had a heart that had given and loved her Lord, her family, friends, and life so passionately. She made people she met feel like they were her best friends. If asked, “What do you love more than anything?” Her reply was, “Living.” She lived each day waking up happy and thanking God for that day.
The service will be held on Wednesday, July 8, at Magnolia South Funeral Home in Tuscaloosa, Alabama from 10:00 to 11:00. Following the service, the family has invited everyone to stay for visitation and reception with lunch provided. There will be no graveside service.
Ginny and Earl D. Perry were married July 7, 1956 in her hometown of Victoria, Virginia. They were married 61 years before Earl’s passing in 2017. Ginny loved her life as an Army wife and moved to many states until moving to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where they lived 46 years. Ginny moved to Montevallo, Alabama, 5 years ago to be near family.
Earl and Ginny had 3 daughters, Linda (Shawn), Sherry, and Kimberly (Shawn) , 7 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
Ginny loved her church, playing bridge, dancing, thrifting, and hosting family and friends.
The world was a better place with Ginny Perry in it, and she will be greatly missed.
Special thanks to Princess James for her loving friendship and care for the last 4 years.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Taylorville Baptist Church, 7201 Moundville Lane, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35405.
