She is also survived by her brother, Bruce Farris (Darlene) of Northport, Alabama, and sister, Susan Farris Huggins (Tom) of Opelika, Alabama. She is also survived by her prior spouse, Carl Hicks, many nieces, great nieces/nephews, and close family friends.

Victoria was born January 15, 1953 in Jasper, Alabama and lived with her parents Frank and Nell Farris in Eldridge, Alabama. After graduating from Carbon Hill High School in 1971, she moved to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where she met and married Andrew Benton Causey. They were blessed with three children. She later married Carl Hicks who remains an active part of the family. Later she married John G. Jones in 2005 and lived happily until his death in 2010. Victoria worked for over 20 years for the State of Alabama, with the majority of those years being with the Game & Fish Division as an administrative assistant. She retired in 2005. Since that time, Victoria has been active in her community, church and neighborhood. Her enduring love was her family, which she spent all her time with, even over many distances and locations. Known to many as “VV”, she had a charismatic and vibrant personality. With a visible love for God and others, evidenced by her servant's heart, she was always willing to help anyone, anywhere, any time, giving of herself freely and with joy. VV’s unforgettable qualities have given everyone amazing stories of love, laughter, and memories that will never fade. VV will be fiercely missed, especially by her family, but also by everyone whose path she crossed. However, her spirit will live on through the legacy of her extraordinary life and the impact of those she loved.

Family is currently receiving visitors at her home, and will be available at the service and back at her home following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to charities or missions of their choice, since like VV, her giving was not limited to one area.
