In Loving Memory of Thomas Leon White
May 15, 1950 – July 13, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas Leon White, who entered eternal rest at the age of 76.
Leon was a proud veteran of the United States Army who served his country with honor. He was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, caring brother, and a loyal best friend to many. His strength, kindness, unwavering love for his family, and generous spirit will forever be remembered by all who knew him.
Leon is survived by his beloved wife, Ginger Stone White; his daughters, Courtney Reid (Chris) and Kaleigh Thomas (Nathaniel); and his treasured grandchildren, Ryleigh Reid, Remington Reid, Abel Thomas, and Jackson Thomas, who brought immeasurable joy to his life.
He is also survived by his siblings: Nellie Chriss (Ronnie), Betty Lagrone (Rayford), Tony White (Shirley), Mary Ann Dockery (Earl), and Earl White (Dianne), along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will deeply miss him.
Leon was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Frances White and Johnny Thomas White, Sr.; his sister, Doris McWhorter (Arthur); and his brothers, Johnny Thomas White, Jr. and Roy Mack White (Sara).
A Celebration of Life honoring Leon will be held at Concord Baptist Church. The family will announce the service arrangements at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to help ease the unexpected financial burden they are facing during this difficult time. Your prayers, love, support, and generosity are sincerely appreciated.
Leon leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and devotion that will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends. Though he will be greatly missed, his memory will forever remain a source of comfort, strength, and love.
The Man, the Myth, the legend.
