Thomas Richard Jankowski

Thomas R Jankowski 85 of Tuscaloosa passed away peacefully April 6, 2026 at Heritage Health Care. Born in Akron Ohio Tom was employed at an early age at BF Goodrich where he retired from in 1996.

He married the love of his life Joyce Williamson in 1959 and had 2 Daughters. He transfered with Goodrich in 1968 to Tuscaloosa and never looked back. Being an avid golfer he joined Tuscaloosa Country Club immediately and he and Joyce spent their best years there with lots of golf and lifelong friends until it's closing. T.J , the nickname his golf buddies gave him, continued playing into his 80's.

He is preceded in death by his love of 61 years Joyce Jankowski, Parents Pete and Eleanor Jankowski, In-Laws Mike and Marcene Marinics and Dianna Williamson.

Tom is survived by Daughters Terri Henning, of Charleston S.C, Patty (Mike) Banks, of Tuscaloosa Al., Brother; Fred (Toni) Jankowski, of Loxahatchee Fl. and Sister; Elaine (Jerry) Owen, of  Brunswick Ga., Grandaughter; Cassey (Max) Snyder, of Tuscaloosa, Brother In Law; Jack Williamson, of  Akron Ohio and several Nieces and Nephews.

The Family would like to thank the staff of Heritage Health Care for their kindness and care during his stay. The staff of SouthernCare Hospice, and to T.J's longtime friend and golf buddy Hugo Benitez for all the visits and encouragement. We are truly grateful.

The family is planning a private reunion to celebrate the lives and love of Tom and Joyce at a later date.
