Thelma P. Tucker | MOUNDVILLE Thelma P. Tucker, age 87, of Moundville, died May 7, 2011, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Oak Hill Cemetery with Rev. Scott Stephens officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Odis Tucker; her mother, Idell Matherson; her father, Lawrence Perry; and her brothers, Willie Perry and Henry Epperson. Survivors include her daughter, Anna Hall (Lamar); her son, Jerry Tucker (Karen); her sisters, Eunice Perry, Mary Harris, and Frances Gray; her brothers, James Epperson, William Perry, Gene Perry, and Lawrence Perry, Jr.; her grandchildren, Lisa Matherson (Ronny), Mike Hall (Kelly), and Anya Tucker; her great-grandchildren, Craig Matherson, Connor Matherson, Triston Hall, and Wesley Hall; and her cousin, Judy Faye Sarathus. Pallbearers will be Mike Hall, Alvin Tidmore, Angie Tucker, Don Tucker, Russell Allen, and Ronny Matherson. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Larry Skelton and staff, nurses and staff of DCH Regional Medical Center 5th Floor, Moundville Health & Rehab staff, Eunice and Virginia Bibby, and Brenda Snider.
