Sue Cole Waller Seale

February 18, 1934 - August 22, 2026

Sue Cole Waller Seale passed away on August 22, 2026, at the age of 92.

Mrs. Seale was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Hezekiah Seale Jr., and her sons, James Hezekiah Seale III and Robert Waller Seale.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Gayle Seale Newton and her husband Bill; her grandchildren, Brooke Seale, James Hezekiah Seale IV, and Carrie Cole Wofford and her husband, Nick, along with Carrie's mother, Mary Ellen McCoy.

She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, David Hezekiah McCrory, Robert James Seale and his mother, Marie Dennis, Letty Braxton Wofford, and Farley Cole Wofford.

Mrs. Seale is further survived by her three nieces in Kentucky, Julia Adams, Garnett Davis, and Charla Hylton.

In accordance with her wishes, Mrs. Seale will be cremated and laid to rest beside her husband at the family farm in a private, family-only ceremony. There will be no visitation.

The family would like to extend a special and heartfelt thank you to David Scott, Connie Patrick, and Lucille Long for their dedicated service, kindness, and care.
