Shirley Handley

Shirley Ann Handley, age 84, of Northport, Ala., passed away December 19, 2025, at her residence. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Magnolia Chapel North with Bro. Tim Webb officiating. Burial will follow in Berry City Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel North directing. Visitation will be 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Magnolia Chapel North.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul R. and Lona G. Seaborn; maternal grandparents, J. D. and Virginia Rye; paternal grandparents, C. C. "Kit" and Margaret Seaborn; and many special aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Survivors include her husband, Jim Tom Handley; sons, Tommy Handley (Joni), and Mark A. Handley; grandchildren, Julie Henne (Nick), and Cody Hutchens; great-grandsons, Mason Hutchens, and Landon Henne; and special caregiver, Emma Robinson.

Pallbearers will be James Handley, Jerry Handley, Danny Rye, Connie Rye, Steve Murphy, and Bobby Hathcock.

Honorary pallbearers are George Traweek, Glen Crowe, J. W. Arendale, Kris Keelin, employees of Bryant Bank - Northport Branch, Dr. Stephen Browne, Larry Morris, and employees of Area Agency on Aging of West Alabama.

Special thanks to all the employees of Hospice of West Alabama who cared for our wife and mother.
