Sarah Miller

Sarah House Miller, 87, of McCalla, AL, passed away at home on July 26th, 2025, surrounded by her family. Sarah was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She lived her life in service to the Lord by leading missions in discipleship, teaching Sunday school and GAs, and serving as director of children's ministries. She was a beacon of light, touching many lives, as she joyfully served the Lord.

Sarah was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Gladys House of Reform; her daughter, Sheila Miller of Millport; and her brothers, Ganus House of MS, John House of Tuscaloosa, Ellison House of Reform; and one sister, Jewell Shelton of Reform. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Norman Miller; son, Terry Miller; daughter, Beth Suggs-Wyatt (Ricky); grandchildren, Brylaine Zimmerman and Braydon Suggs; three step-grandchildren, Britteny Miles (Paul), Noel Wyatt, and Alex Wyatt; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law, Florene Elliot & Erlene House, several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home, Northport, AL-Reverand John Alexander to conduct the services. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at 1:00 p.m. on July 30th, 2025-no graveside service to follow.

Pallbearers are Christopher Shelton, Blake Shelton, Phillip House, Gentry Sanford, Robert Rector, Mike Mace, and Stan Oliver.
