Sarah Nell Jones, 73 of Coker, passed away May 28, 2025 at home surrounded by her loved ones. Services will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at 12:00 noon at Magnolia Chapel North with Bro. Clyde Stevens officiating and Magnolia Chapel North directing. Burial will follow at Bone Camp Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Magnolia Chapel North one hour prior to the service.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Wesley and Mary Elizabeth Gray, and her sister; Mary Louise Kyzer.

Survivors include her husband Robert D. Jones, daughter; Lynda Montgomery (Russ), sons; John L. Wilson, Michael Jones (Candice), sisters; JoAnn Montgomery, Jane Ray (Vernon), brother; Johnny Gray (Jimmie Lou), grandchildren; Elisabeth Dunn (Aaron), Noah Montgomery (Nicole), Preston Montgomery (Courtney), Lindsey Oswalt (Todd), Anna Kate Wilson , Hayden Jones (Paige), Madison Jones, Austin Todd, Matty Lynn McCraw, Tyler McCraw, Lily Brooke Jones, 11 great grandchildren and numerous loved and cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Sarah was born on March 29, 1952 in Tuscaloosa County, to Wesley and Mary Elizabeth Gray. She retired from Northport Hospital DCH, where she served in the food service department. Sarah was known for her kindness and willingness to love. She cherished spending time with her family, showering them with love. Some of her greatest joys were sun bathing by the pool with her grandchildren, dancing, cooking homemade meals and tending to her garden. 

She made a lasting impact on her family, friends, and all who knew her her through her selfless service, warm hugs, unwavering love and delicious cooking. Sarah, also known as Nannie to many, will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. 

Pallbearers will be Russ Montgomery, Noah Montgomery, Glen Montgomery, Aaron Dunn, Austin Dunn, Wesley Ray and Brennan Dalton. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Malika Aryanpure and Hospice of West Alabama.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Bone Camp Cemetery Fund, checks can be made payable to Mike Chism, 15687 Rue Road Coker, Alabama 35452.
