Rose Marie Green Boozer, age 68 of Moundville, passed away September 15, 2023 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 2:00pm at Magnolia Chapel South with Bro. Rob Steinbrook officiating and Magnolia Chapel South directing.

She is preceded in death by her father; Harold Green, mother; Agnes Wainwright, sisters; Agnes Valentine and Lois Folts, brothers; Joe Green, and Anthony Green.

She is survived by her husband; John Boozer, daughter; Krystal Guin, sister; Patsy Darley, grandchild; Nataleigh Braswell, and many nieces and nephews.

Rose Marie Boozer was born on April 13, 1955, in Wilkes-Barre, PA. and was raised in Boca Raton, Florida. She married her husband, John Boozer, on December 15, 1972 and they would have celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary this year.

Early in their marriage, Rose and John helped to raise her nieces and nephews and she loved them as er own. Rose loved to travel with her husband across the country when he worked construction in their early years. She also enjoyed canning and preparing vegetables from their garden.

She was a wonderful mother and best friend to her daughter Krystal and was a huge part of her life. Rosie was also a doting grandmother to her granddaughter, Nataleigh Braswell, who meant the world to her. She was a loving and caring wife to her husband who she loved dearly.

Rosie Loved to camp, fish, and play cards, but she loved spending time with her family most of all. She was a wonderful, generous, loving and caring person and touched many lives.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Antoinette and Thomas Martin, Christina Lindner, Tim Eady, Kim Banks, Frieda Smithson, and Joy Willett, for all of their help and support during her illness.
