Phillip was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a cherished “Pop.” He dedicated 26 years of his professional life as a Network Manager for the Culverhouse School of Business at the University of Alabama, where he was respected for his knowledge, reliability, and willingness to help others.

A man of deep faith, Phillip believed in God and faithfully served his church in many capacities over the years. His servant’s heart extended far beyond the church walls—he was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and made a lasting impact on his community through his kindness and generosity. He served as a director of the Upward ministry for the last three years.

Phillip had a passion for history and was an enthusiastic fan of University of Alabama football, rarely missing an opportunity to cheer on his team. He also loved working with his hands, finding joy and purpose in building and fixing things.

Above all, Phillip will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his strong faith, and his giving spirit. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his loving family, whose lives he enriched every day. We should all strive to live and love like Pop.
