Peggy Gibson

Peggy Dyer Gibson, age 93, of Northport, Alabama, passed away June 26, 2025 at Glen Haven Health and Rehabilitation. Graveside services will be 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Bro. Richard Bowers officiating and Magnolia Chapel North directing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph "Rudy" Gibson; parents, Curtis Mack Dyer, Sr. and Ruth Holbrook Dyer; children, Nicky Gibson, Valerie Gibson, and Melanie Gibson; sister, Patsy Dyer Livingston; and brothers, Bobby Brand and Mack Dyer.

Mrs. Gibson is survived by three grandsons: Brett (Angie) Gibson of Watersound, FL, Heath (Martha) Gibson of Mt Pleasant, SC and Zac (Shelly) Gibson of Austin, TX; five great-grandchildren: Hayes Gibson and Grayson Gibson of Watersound, FL; Claire, Libby and Nora Gibson of Mt Pleasant, SC; along with many nieces, nephews and additional relatives.

Mrs. Gibson was a member of St. Mark Methodist Church and retired from Bryce Hospital pharmacy. She loved her family and enjoyed cooking huge, delicious meals for them. She was an avid animal lover and took great care of her fur babies. She loved her yard and flowers. She had a smile for everybody and never met a stranger.
