Paula Jeanne Plummer, 58 of Tuscaloosa, passed away July 19, 2026 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be held on Friday July 24, 2026 at Greensboro Baptist Church at 10:30 am with Bro. Bobby Dubose officiating and Magnolia Chapel South directing. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church one our prior to visitation.
She is preceded in death by her fathers, Jimmie Davis and Wayne Plummer; sisters, Becky Davis, Tina Plummer; brother, Timothy Plummer ; grandparents, Varner Plummer, Dorothy Plummer, Frank Davis, Ava Davis, Melonea Martin, and Stanley Martin, Sr.
Survivors include her sisters, Kimberly Shurett (Brad), Carol Swift (Larry Cook); brother, Jimmy(Jimbo) Davis, mother, Marjorie Davis; nieces and nephews; Richard Bonds (Tara), Katy Bonds (Lindsey Wilkinson), David Bonds (Brooke), Hannah McGee (Andy), Teresa Rotunno, Jonathan Davis (Kelly), Jeremy Davis, Joel Davis (Abby), and many grandnieces and grandnephews.
Paula Jeanne Plummer was born on May 27, 1968, in Demopolis, Alabama. She graduated from Greensboro High School as class president, salutatorian, and a member of the bio-med program. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration from the University of Alabama in 1990. Paula had a dedicated 35-year career at the same bank, demonstrating unwavering loyalty through multiple mergers and name changes. A woman of deep faith, she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tuscaloosa, where she taught Sunday School and treasured her time with the Wednesday night supper club. After the death of her father, Jimmie, Paula became deeply devoted to her mother, frequently traveling with her all over the world and dedicating her Thursday nights to spending quality time together. Paula loved her family, friends, and God fiercely. Her love language was gift-giving, as she delighted in showering those she loved with thoughtful surprises. She leaves behind a legacy of love, generosity, and devotion that will continue to inspire all who knew her.

Honorary Pallbearers are Charmian Crawford, Audrea Moore, Donna Ward, Kelly Bagby, colleagues from Wells Fargo, FBC Wednesday Night Supper Club, Ms. Kristi and FBC 2nd Grade Class
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to First Baptist Church Tuscaloosa, AL in care of the Children’s Ministries
