Nancy Carol Espey Oswalt, age 82, of Northport, Ala., passed away September 9, 2026 at Hospice of West Alabama.

Hebron Baptist Church. “Mawmaw Carol” to her grandchildren, she was known for her red velvet cakes, her green thumb, her sense of humor, her love of sparkly jewelry, and for making everyone she knew feel like family.

She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Guin (Terry), sons, Phillip Oswalt (Dana) and Andy Oswalt (Jill), grandchildren, Jill White (Chris), Ryan Oswalt (Katie), Russ Guin (Nathan), Alex Guin, Lacey Hulsey, Presley Bailey (Walt), Hallie Oswalt, and Kalen Oswalt, great-grandchildren, Kyla Harbin, Lily Harbin, Jack White, Rosie White, Emery Oswalt, Tatum Oswalt, and Whitley Oswalt, and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
