Mona Kay Lamb

Graveside services for Mona Kay Lamb, age 77, of Tuscaloosa, formerly of Eutaw, who died on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at home, will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at Mesopotamia Cemetery in Eutaw. Rev. Carl Sudduth will officiate. Magnolia Funeral Home South will direct.

Kay was born on June 15, 1946, in Greene County to Milburn Grady Lamb, Sr., and Virginia Anne Richardson Lamb.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Milburn Grady Lamb, Jr.

She is survived by her best friend/sister, Susan Gasparovich, of Tuscaloosa; her precious fur baby, Poncho; her nieces, Kim (Jim) Langham, of Carrollton, Georgia, Cindy (Joe) Wilson, of Carrollton, Georgia, Amanda (Jimmy) New, of Hendersonville, North Carolina, Emily Lamb, of Carrollton, Georgia, and Connie (Rob) Adams, of Union Springs, Alabama; nephew, Joseph (Dedra) Bolton, of Pell City, Alabama; great nieces, Hope (Jeffrey) Vance, of Carrollton, Georgia, Mallory & Jessie Wilson, of Carrollton, Georgia, and Aspen & Layton Adams, of Union Springs, Alabama; great nephews, Duke (Brittney) Daily, of Carrollton, Georgia, Daniel (Jessie) Adams, of Union Springs, Alabama and Joseph (Laura) Adams, of Huntsville, Alabama; great-great niece, Lyla Vance, of Carrollton, Georgia; great-great nephews, Jake Vance, of Carrollton, Georgia, Grady & Banks Daily of Carrollton, Georgia, and Cainnan & Moses Adams, of Union Springs, Alabama; and a host of special friends and family that she loved dearly.

Those who knew Kay will always remember her love of her hometown, her love for all things Roll Tide, her kindness, her sense of humor, her work ethic and that she was "the Lamb in your life." She worked at Langham Small Motors for over 50 years, where she formed many friendships during her career.
