Mildred Sutton

Mildred D. Sutton, age 90, passed away June 25, 2021 in Northport, Al. Graveside services will be 12:00 p.m. on Monday, June 28, 2021 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery with Stan Henson officiating. Visitation will be immediately following the service at the church.

She was preceded in death by her parents Mary Jane Davis, Sam Davis; brother Howard H. Davis; husbands W.P. Sutton and T.A. Hamner.

Survivors include her 3 sons Mike E. Cox (Mary Ann), Donald R. Cox (Jackie) and Max A. Hamner; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Mildred was a longtime member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. She was a cosmetologist and retired as a bus driver from Tuscaloosa Co School System.

Pallbearers will be Chris Cox, Justin Cox, Jordon Cox, Matt Hamner, Joe Hallahan and John Hayden Caffee.

Honorary Pallbeareers will be Members of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Tuscaloosa Co. Bus Shop, Lougene Montgomery and Faye Phillips.
