Martha Hinton

Martha Jackson Hinton, age 94, died October 17, 2022, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. A graveside service will be held at Little Sandy Baptist Church Cemetery on Thursday, October 20 at 11 am. Chaplin Bill Thetford will officiate, and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home Tuscaloosa will direct. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the residence of Nancy and Hooker Robinson.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Newton (Bill Newt) Hinton, Jr., her parents, Mary and Morris Jackson, sister, Mary Virginia Jackson, and brothers, Morris (Buddy) Jackson and David Jackson. She is survived by her brother, Francis (Dean) Jackson, children, Tabby (Forrest) Brown, Ann (Eddie) Tinsley, Nancy (Hooker) Robinson, grandchildren, Brian Tinsley, Newton Tinsley, Margaret Tinsley, Catherine (Douglas) Dutcher, Bill Robinson, Karina Brown and treasured nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of West Alabama or the charity of your choice.
