Margaret Simmons

Margaret E. Simmons BUHL | Margaret E. Simmons, age 93, of Buhl, died September 26, 2015, at Pickens County Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 29, 2015, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North with Bro. Bill Richards and Bro. Cliff Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Pate Cemetery in Buhl with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be two hours prior to service at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Charles R. Simmons; sons, Howard Earl Simmons and Donald Randall Simmons; daughter, Clarene S. Blake; and grandson, Wayne Morrison. Survivors include her daughters, Peggy Joyce Frost and Carol S. Evans; daughters-in-law, Diane Simmons and Mary Simmons; son, Alfred Simmons (Wendy); brother, Raymond Channell (Maxine) of Northport; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Margaret was a loving godly woman, a pastor's wife and a member of the Church of God. Pallbearers will be friends and family.
