Manie Barbour

Manie Rosser McCrory Barbour | NORTHPORT Manie Rosser McCrory Barbour, age 90, of Northport, died Feb. 25, 2012, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. today at Oak Hill Cemetery with Dr. Christopher Denson officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Walter Tenice McCrory and Redden Eugene Barbour. Survivors include her daughter, Margie Fields (Ralph) of Northport; her sons, Bobby McCrory (Sue) of Northport, Ron McCrory of Tuscaloosa, and Wayne McCrory of Northport; three stepchildren, Steve Barbour (Pam), Martha Sims (Kenny), and Helen Ann Hardy; her sister, Virginia McCrory of Mobile; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and special friend, Sherry Singley. Pallbearers will be Darrell Hubbert, Aaron McCrory, Rodney Fields, John Fields, Charles Shelby, Bryant Fields, Pete Blake, and Frank Pizzillo. Honorary pallbearers are members of Tuscaloosa Association of Realtors, Koinonia Class of Forest Lake United Methodist Church, members of Hilltop Baptist Church, members of Writer's Cramp Class, and Mamie and Hillary Jeffcoat.
