Mae L. Morrison NORTHPORT Mae L. Morrison, age 87, of Northport, formerly of Valdosta, Ga., died July 22, 2012, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. EDT Thursday at Dasher Cemetery in Dasher, Ga. with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North in charge of arrangements. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, George A. Morrison, in 2004. Survivors include her daughters, Nancy Stinnett (Nick) of Northport and Mary Leigh Cox (Billy J.) of Huntsville; and three grandchildren, David Stinnett (Kelsey) and Joseph Stinnett of Tuscaloosa and Katrina Cox Smith (Steve) of Trinity. She was a longtime resident of Valdosta, Ga. and a member of the St. Augustine Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to one's favorite charity.
