Lorine Hallman Jones | NORTHPORT Lorine Hallman Jones, age 71, of Northport, died Feb. 19, 2012, at home. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North with Rev. Alan Roggli officiating. Burial will follow in Sulphur Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Lorine was preceded in death by her father, Austin "Doc"� Hallman; her mother, Sammy Vaughn Hallman; and her sister, Christine Hallman. Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Lenear "Lyn"� Jones; her son, Richard I. "RJ"� Jones; her stepdaughters, Sherry Makepeace and Linda Pearl Jones; her grandsons, Nicholas I. Jones and Jason and Jeremy Makepeace; her granddaughter, Laura Woodruff; her sisters-in-law, Gladys Poole, Morrell Poole, and Sylvia Jean Jones Carter; numerous cousins; the Grady Falls family, the Gray family, Smelley family, and Vaughn family, and so many more; numerous nieces and nephews; and special uncle, Kenneth Nelson. Pallbearers will be Jerry Smelley, Gary Ray Jones, Kenny Holloway, Jason Russell, L.B. Smith, Wade Vaughn, Gary Sanford, and Johnny B. Falls. Honorary pallbearers are Charles and Barbara Malone, Sonny and Jeanette Jones, Bobby and Pat Fretwell, Claudette Jones, Hugh and Joyce Patterson, Kenny and Debbie Holloway, Jean Mills, the Ruth Sunday School Class, VA Medical Center staff, Chapter 6 LPNs of Tuscaloosa, and Leroy and Geneva Lane.
