Linda Parker

It is with great sadness that the family of Linda Jean Parker, of Johnson City, TN, announces her passing after a brief and courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday Oct. 10, 2023 at the age of 75 years. 

Linda will be lovingly remembered by her sisters, Donna (Steve) Lawrence, Halifax, Nova Scotia and Terri (Tom) Reynolds, Johnson City, TN; as well as many nieces and nephew, (Jamie, Hollie, Rileigh Kayson, Madie Grace, Anna, Trent, Brittni, Cass, Jill); great nieces and nephews, uncle and aunts, cousins and a host of friends. 

Linda was most excited about going to heaven to see Jesus and be reunited with her parents, Tossie and Jean Parker. 

She had a passion for life and loved people. She never met a stranger.  She especially loved all things Disney and was able to make her last trip to Disneyworld in 2019 with niece Jill and her family.  

Pallbearers will be chosen by family members.

Honorary Pallbearers will be staff at NHC Nursing Home, Johnson City, TN where she spent the last 4 months of her life. Special friends, Millie Wykoff and Debbie Cannon, members of Chapel Hill Baptist Church, Robertson Chapel, Northport, AL.

Graveside Services will be Monday, Oct. 16, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sunset Memorial Park, Northport, AL with Rev. Tim Patrick officiating and Magnolia Chapel North directing.
