Judith Oden

Judy Gray Oden, 73, was called to her eternal resting place on May 5, 2021 after a long illness. She was born on October 23, 1947 in Sylacauga, AL, to Leon and Dollie Gray. Her passions were making memories on family trips to the beach and mountains. Her favorite time of the year was Christmas and cherished the decorations. Judy married James Oden in 1982 to form a large blended family. She is survived by her daughters Tammy Hawkins (Chuck) and Jamie Mentel (Charles); stepsons Jimmy Kirk (Molly), Jeff Kirk (Susan), and Jonathan Kirk (Telissa); stepdaughters Kim Goodsell (Matt), and Ashley Guarino (Patrick); grandchildren Gray Fancher (Amber), Taylor Cleckler (Anthony), Katheryn Grace Mentel, Mary Harmon Mentel, Amelia Brees Mentel and Connor Hawkins; sister Avies Gennaro (Vinnie); brothers Larry Gray (Peggie), Wayne Gray (Linda), and Johnny Gray (Kim); best friend Fran Hardin; special friends Jerry and Janice Snyder; and a host of step great and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband James W Oden.
