John Tillery

John David Tillery, age 74 of Pickensville, Alabama, passed away October 22, 2022 at Northport Medical Center DCH. Services will be announced at a later date.

He is preceded in death by his father; Alston Tillery, and mother; Nelle Tillery Hallman.

Survivors include his daughter Tara Leigh Tillery Foley (John), sisters; Diane Tillery Grimes and Donna Tillery Rhea.

He worked at South Central Bell for many years and also as a deputy for the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's office. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, and playing golf. His last years were spent living on the river in Pickensville, Alabama, spending time with his family, friends and neighbors. He will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of West Alabama.
