Joel Patrick Kelley, 53 of Moundville, passed away August 19, 2026 at home. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 11:00 am at Oak Hill Cemetery in Moundville with Bro. Jeff Lollar officiating and Magnolia Chapel South directing.

He is preceded in death by his father; Joseph "Eddie" Kelley, grandparents; Rufus and Clevie C. Kelley and Henry and Gene Boothe, cousin; Randy Kelley, uncles; Rufus "Bubba" Kelley and Derrick Boothe , aunts; Donna Boothe and Carolyn Skelton, and cousin; Kisha Johnson.

Joel is survived by the mother of his children; Bridget Kelley, daughter; Kayla Gallegos (John), sons; Joshua Taylor (Samantha), Kolby Boswell, Dalton Kelley (Danielle), sister; Jessica Anderson (Mitchell), mother; Rachele Ann Kelley, grandchildren; Aydin Taylor, McKaylynn and Rowan Gallegos, Dean and Dahlia Kelley.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Taylor, Dalton Kelley, John Gallegos, Heath Anderson, Aydin Taylor, and Colton French. Honorary pallbearers will be Darrin Prewitt, Henry Beverly, Dwin Walker, Gary Bates, Doug Tingle, Gina Perry, Nurses and Staff of Enhabit Hospice, The Manderson Cancer Center, UAB West, County Line Grocery, Five Points and Big Sandy employees, and many more loved ones.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the Lewis and Faye Manderson Cancer Center.
