Joe was born in Buhl, Ala. on a very cold snowy day. He was the second son and worked his place in between four sisters. He was always able to hold his ground and eventually became the boss of the entire family. He faced many obstacles during his life, but always came out on top and victorious.

Joe always walked closely with the Lord and accepted God’s calling to the ministry. He always leaned on the Lord and was quick to let anyone know that was where his strength came from. He loved deeply and had a natural ability to be a friend on first introduction.

The light of his life was his loving daughters who stood by him so lovingly as he left to go to his heavenly home. His wife Joanne has been his love, companion, friend, and sidekick for the past 36 years.

Pallbearers will be Allen Mims, Bradley Mims, Ricky Malone, Roger Minton, Danny Dillard, Randy Dillard, Todd Dillard, Michael Pritchett, Heath Pritchett, and Jeremy Robertson.
