Jimmy "Sonny"� D. Brasher Northport l Jimmy "Sonny"� D. Brasher, age 79, AL died July 21, 2015 at Park Manor Nursing Home. Graveside services will be 10 A.M. Saturday July 25, 2015 with Rev. Ed King officiating and Magnolia Chapel North Funeral Home Directing. Sonny was preceded in death by his parents Hoyt and Rubye Whitfield Brasher. Sonny is survived by his wife Myrtie Lee Brasher of Northport, Sister Betty Ann Richardson (John) of Northport. Sonny graduated from Tuscaloosa High School and was a proud Black Bear. Sonny attended the University of Alabama and was a huge Football fan. Sonny also served in the U.S. Marines. Pallbearers will be Joe Wood, Mike Guin, Davis Culp, Gene Beard, Mike Criswell, Gordon Montgomery. Honorary pallbearers are neighbors of Twin Manor, John R. Richardson. In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations to ones favorite charity in Sonny"�s name.
