J.F. James

J.F. James, of Tuscaloosa, passed away Thursday May 12, 2022 at the age of 82. He was preceeded in death by his parents Frank and Myrtle Faye James, two sisters, Betty Sue James and Sue Elliott, and one brother Martin James.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Wanda Hyde James. Three daughters, Dana Hornaday (Terry) Ilesha Lee, and Andrea Graham; five grandchildren, Itara Groefsema (Jeremy), James Allen Hornady (Jacky), Victoria Strickland (Matthew), Brianna Graham, and Nathaniel Graham; three great grandchildren, Daniel, Aiden and Mary Hornady; two brothers Willie Frank and Jesse Dean James, and one sister, Wyolene Moman.

J.F. retired from Alabama Power Company after 37 years. His life's focus and pride was Family and Career. He served both with honor.
