Jerry Watkins

Jerry Wayne Watkins, age 68, of Greensboro, Ala., passed away November 21, 2023 at his residence. Celebration of Life services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 26, 2023, at Springhill Holiness Church, 630 Springhill Rd., Greensboro, AL 36744. Visitation will be after the service at the church. Magnolia Chapel South assisted the family with final arrangements.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Agnes Watkins.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie A. Watkins; daughters, Sherrie Merrell (Todd) and Delaine Coley (Jerry); son, Nick Watkins (Madalyn); sisters, Linda Johnson, Margaret Watkins (Jimmy), and Brenda Hinton (Billy); brothers, Ronnie Watkins (Mary), Toby Watkins (Kim), and John Watkins (Katherine); grandchildren, Mallory, Madison, Jake, Hunter, Leigh, and Isaac; and great-grandson, Elijah.

Jerry loved his family, hunting, and Alabama Football.

Honorary pallbearers are Johnny Averette, Mark Averette, The Valley community, Angie Washburn, Chris Averette, and Jeremy Averette.
