Janice Wyres

Janice Noverta Wyres, age 73 of Duncanville, passed away August 1, 2019, at home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 6, 2019, at Gilgal Baptist Cemetery with Bro. Bart Latner officiating and Magnolia Chapel South directing.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Mancil and Katie Hill, brother; Aaron Hill, sister; Ann Bramlett and husband; Richard Wyres.

Janice is survived by her daughters, Kristie Wyres, and Julie Scholz, sons; Lonnie Wyres and Chad Wyres, brother; Mac Hill, numerous grand daughters, grandsons, one great grandson and one great grand daughter.

Janice was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on December 31, 1945, to Mancil and Katie Mae Hill. On February 9, 1963, she married her husband Richard Wyres. Together they had four children and spent 50 years making memories built on a love that we will always cherish. She worked and retired from DCH Health System. Janice was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved to cook. She enjoyed sewing, reading, vacations, and spending time with loved ones. She was a member of Gilgal Baptist Church. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family and all who knew her.
