James Willard Kornegay TUSCALOOSA | James Willard Kornegay, age 92, of Tuscaloosa, died August 13, 2015, at Heritage Nursing Home. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, August 17, 2015, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South with Brother Gene Dockery officiating. Private burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann; parents, Louise and Claude Kornegay; and brother, Billy Kornegay. Survivors include his daughter, Linda Kornegay Gruenewald (Chris) and Lee Ann Kornegay Galloway (Joe) both of Mobile, Ala.; son, James Dennis Kornegay (Susan) of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; sister, Anne Kornegay Driver of Gardendale, Ala.; grandchildren, Leslie Baggett (Beau), Julia Bernstein (Jeremy), Christopher and Whit Gruenewald, Jennifer Bell (Brian), Jessica and David Kornegay, Kathleen Ann Stewart, Charlotte and Joseph Galloway; and nine great-grandchildren.
