James Mccool

Breland McCool, 80, of Tuscaloosa, Al. passed away on Monday, November 30, 2020. Due to COVID concerns, a drive by visitation will be held on Sunday, December 6, 2020 from 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. at Magnolia Chapel South followed by a family graveside service. Breland was preceded in death by his parents, James and Vergie McCool, sisters Eunice McCool and Janice Taylor. Breland is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Sarah McCool, sons Mike McCool (Connie), Keith McCool (Tiny), daughter Sheila Rice (Mike), grandchildren, Tiffany McCool, Michael McCool, Jeremy Rice, Anna Lee, Raegan Ciszek, and Jonathan Cottingham, 9 great grandchildren and his sister, Bernice Hartley. Breland was a loving husband, father, pawpaw, and a friend to everyone. Breland loved gardening, fishing, basketball and football. He worked at the Tuscaloosa Police Dept, retired from B F Goodrich, and retired from Shelton State College. He was a member of Englewood Baptist Church and served his Lord faithfully there for over 50 years. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
