James Manfried Johnson ALICEVILLE James Manfried Johnson, age 75, of Aliceville, died April 5, 2012, at Pickens County Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Family Worship Center with Bro. Randy Suddeth officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North in charge of arrangements. He was preceded in death by James T. and Christian Johnson. Survivors include his wife, Lois Nance Johnson; daughters, Beverly Ann Johnson and Rhonda Lynn West (Kenneth Mark West); son, James Steven Johnson (Glenda Diane Johnson); grandchildren, Brandy Nicole McElrath (Stephen McElrath), Adam Bass, Elizabeth Ashely West, Zack Watkins, Lillian Johnson, and Wyatt Johnson; and a great-grandchild, Jacob Ashton. He was born in Aliceville June 16, 1936. He graduated from Aliceville High School. He served 30 years in the Alabama National Guard and worked at OM Nova for 32 years. He was a loving husband, father, and grandpa. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. James L. Parker, Dr. Ty Krehbiel, Jessie Bishop, PCMC staff and home health, Pickens County Ambulance Service, and Aliceville Volunteer Fire Department.
