James Thomas Dodson COKER | James "Jimmy" Thomas Dodson, age 74, of Coker, Ala., died September 28, 2015, at UAB Hospital. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, October 3, 2015, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North. Burial will follow in Patterson and Hall Cemetery in Fayette, Ala. with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be Friday, October 2, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his mother, Willing E. Higdon; father, Auther Blakney; and sister, Jane Blakney. Survivors include his wife, Judy Dodson of Northport, Ala.; daughter, Sandra McPherson of Bear, Delaware; son, Mike Dodson of Northport, Ala.; grandchildren, Joey Dodson, Magen Robertson, Haley Shaw and Sam McPherson; and great-grandchildren, Rhett Lee Robertson and Isabell Dodson. Jimmy retired from Tamco. Pallbearers will be Terry Wheatly, Gary Newman, Joey Dodson, Don Edge and Ron Edge.
