James W. Anderson | TUSCALOOSA James W. Anderson, age 50, of Tuscaloosa, died May 24, 2011, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Brookwood with Pete Hall officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 .m. at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Hamilton. Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Linda Lee Anderson of Tuscaloosa; his daughters, Bridget Anderson of Florida and Berenda Clanton (Jerry) and Trina Campbell, both of Tuscaloosa; his sons, Joshua Walker Anderson (Ashley) of Tuscaloosa and Joe Campbell of Athens; his sisters, Cherlyn Anderson of Virginia and Beth Cherry (Brian) of Alaska; his brother, Dr. Scott Anderson (Charlene) of Meridian, Miss.; his father, Dr. Russell L. Anderson of Virginia; his grandchildren, Candice Martin, Dustin Cleary, Kalyne Carlson, Don Haynes, and Bethany Campbell; five great-grandchildren; and 11 nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank DCH 6th Floor and 2 and 3 Floor Intensive Care Unit nurses, doctors, and respiratory therapists who did an excellent job of taking care of him for such a long time. Pallbearers will be Robert Smith, Tracey Crisswell, Randy Clanton, Chris Akins, Dustin Cleary, Justynn Simmons, Jerry Grimble, and Don Tubs. Honorary pallbearers include Don Haynes.
